Client's Challenge
The project comprised 27 landscaping walls in single-tier, multi-tier and back-to-back configurations, integrated with various architectural features. Key challenges included achieving visual harmony within a tight programme, designing around stairs and boundaries, accommodating columns within reinforced zones, and providing for planting above the walls.
Tensar delivered the TensarTech TW1 ME modular block system, an aesthetic, engineered solution meeting the project’s landscaping requirements. It accommodated tiered and back-to-back walls, curves with radii up to 7.0 m, interfaces with stairs and boundaries, columns within reinforced zones, and planting provisions for seamless integration with the development.
