Retaining Walls
While there are many traditional options when constructing retaining walls, often involving reinforced concrete and piling, for substantial savings in both construction time and cost, combined with versatility, Tensar has developed the TensarTech range of retaining wall systems. The TensarTech range makes use of a combination of soil reinforcement geogrids securely connected to attractive facing units, including dry laid concrete modular facing blocks.
A wide range of options
With our 30 years of construction knowledge, design experience and innovative geogrid products, Tensartech Retaining Wall Systems provide a number of facing types and construction options to suit the structure’s end use, location and required design life. These include:
TensarTech TW1, TW3, and Mesa modular block retaining wall systems made from precast concrete, in a wide selection of styles, colours and textures. The TW1 Link system provides the option to build an architectural, project specific masonry or brick skin which is connected to the Tensar block face using stainless steel ties.
TensarTech Panel, as either full height or incremental pre-cast concrete panels in a size, shape and finish, as needed to suit the project specification and aesthetic requirements
TensarTech Marine incorporating substantial pre-cast concrete units ideally-suited to aggressive marine conditions
TensarTech RockWall allows the use of lower cost fill in the reinforced soil zone behind the facing units, combined with the visual of a traditional gabion face
TensarTech TR2 a functional, low-cost structure that is quick and easy to erect, suitable for temporary works structures or for lateral thrust relief on existing retaining walls
