The typical strength of the nodes between the longitudinal and transverse ribs, as determined by the Geosynthetics Research Institute, Drexel University, USA, Test Method GG2-87, shall be >95% of the Quality Control Strength in both longitudinal and transverse directions.

Tensar SS-G & SSLA-G geocomposite properties
All of these Tensar biaxial geogrids (except SS2) are also available on all 4m wide rolls as a geocomposite. The composite comprises the geogrid heat bonded to a non-woven geotextile separator. The properties of the geotextile are:
