Fire Department Determines Source of Fire at Tensar Plant, Confirms Accidental Cause

Atlanta – June 23, 2011 (21:10) – The Fire and Emergency Services Department for Clayton County, Ga. has concluded its investigation into the fire that destroyed plastic products stockpiled in the external storage yard of the Tensar Plant in Morrow, Ga. They have concluded that the fire started accidentally as a result of sparks or heat generated when the plastic material or the metal basket in which it was being moved by a fork lift in the yard, came into contact with the concrete pavement.

Tensar smooths fans' road to Euro 2012

Tensartech TW1 structural and retaining walls are being installed in a new raised dual carriageway to bypass the historic City of Wroclaw in South East Poland. The road will give access to the new Miejski Stadium in time for its role in the UEFA Euro 2012 football finals.

Atlanta, GA –January 7, 2011. Tensar International Corporation has increased prices for its subgrade improvement and road base reinforcement geogrid products globally. The increase, effective February 15, has been implemented to partially offset significantly higher polymer raw material costs.

RAPID RESPONSE TO BRIDGE FLOOD MISERY

Following November 21’s flood destruction of the town’s bridges over the River Derwent in Workington, Cumbria, Army Royal Engineers have used Tensar International’s TriAx™ geogrid to help construct new bridge abutments for a 40 ton temporary footbridge. Connecting the north and south of the town, the actual bridge will take a week to assemble, and is expected to be in place for Monday 6th’s morning school run.
